Developing and Implementing a Reference Guide for Women, Infants and Children Nutrition EmployeesI worked with the local WIC dietitian, Kara Watts RD, to develop a reference guide for WIC nutrition employees. A survey was developed to ask employees what kind of topics they would be interested in having in a reference guide. An astounding 93% of nutrition employees were interested in having a guide.

Reference Guide for WIC Nutrition EmployeesThis guide contains the information on the topics: pregnancy, infancy, toddler years and preschool years. The information was found from resources such as the United States Department of Agriculture, World Health Organization, American Association of Pediatrics and Institute of Medicine. The guide was sent out electronically to all employees of WIC in Virginia.
